Flexible architecture

iTMS is extremely flexible and supports the delivery of selected modules, which can later be expanded with more modules as your business grows. This is made possible through the flexibility of the system architecture. All modules are available with new installations, but by only activating the ones needed by the customers, it is possible to expand the system with minimum effort when needed. It is even possible to start with iTMS as a branded reseller and later expand the system up to a full MVNO model, without the necessity to migrate data.

Business Support System (BSS) modules which will support the real-time interaction and relationship between you and your costumers, to make sure that you are always able to give your customers exact information, even before they contact you, using digital platforms.

Product catalogue

iTMS Product catalogue manages all product and service offerings in an easy-to-access format. It is a web-based application that enables rapid introduction of new products, prices, and discounts. With the iTMS catalogue companies are able to handle high volume sale of products for various partners. Moreover, the can iTMS easily handle individual discounts on products for a specific customer. 

Within the product catalogue module, the user will find the following functions:

- Product creation: Manages all products and services sold by the client.
- Product packages: Where product combinations are assembled.
- Product pricing: Where product prices are managed.
- Wholesale: Where a wholesale is managed and also contains price lists associated with these. The support of wholesales in iTMS provides the advantageous possibility of assigning commissions to sales representatives, based on their performance.
- Account sources: Define how the usage is grouped and presented on the account, before and after billing.

iTMS can easily handle telephone products as well as other products and services. A product can, for example, be a subscription, a number porting fee, a set-up fee, a service, a piece of hardware, etc. A product may contain a number of sub-products which are built-in or can be optionally added. This is also possible with our system.


iTMS Billing is one of the cornerstones of iTMS; it handles the full process from mediation and processing of usage, products and ad-hoc charges to the actual invoicing. The system can manage high volumes of records with high flexibility of rating configuration and discount capabilities. In short, Billing is done based on purchase and usage, defined by configured usage rates and product pricing. The invoicing routine collects all chargeable events in your defined billing period and processes these to produce customer invoices which include subscriber-, usage- and one-time charges, plus ad-hoc credit and debit adjustments. The invoicing routine also supports aggregation of multiple services per customer and flexible presentation and output formats – both print image and flat file data – depending on your business needs. The system supports test billing facilities, making it possible to simulate invoicing based on actual data – as many times as you want – prior to the production run. The system offers the options of choosing prepaid, postpaid, prepayment or mix of these. All these features make iTMS Billing an essential tool in establishing a successful business.


iTMS contains a complete Rating menu where the parameters for a rating of usage are set up. The menu consists of several menu items for the different parameter types. The rating functionality within iTMS is structured to hold and control all the necessary parameters needed to rate and invoice usage of any kind, which is then delivered in usage files from the network elements. This includes fixed-line telephone usage, Mobile usage, VoIP usage, and IPTV usage.

Call Center

The iTMS Call center module provides a user-friendly browser interface, making it possible to outsource call centers, allowing the employees to work from everywhere and thereby saving costs for resources and office space. The Module provides accesses to all necessary data concerning the individual end-user, subscriptions, consumption, services, invoices, etc. The account allows change of address, payment accounts, and password resets, etc.


The self-service module is based on a separate web application which provides services associated to end-user enquiries, Backoffice and Managed Services activities through the iTMS GUI.  The module is used for signup and self-care, so that end-users are able to order new services and manage their accounts. In order to support a perfectly controlled self-service solution for end users, our self-service module contains over 75 different methods, which makes it possible to retrieve and update data such as subscription product overview, subscription balance, bundle status, prepaid balance top-up and billing.


The iTMS Letter Management module is used to control all text content for emails, letters, SMS, PDF attachments, invoices etc. that are generated by the iTMS system’s business flows and processes. The Module makes it possible to create and edit Letters and Invoice templates that are linked to the process flows.


The reporting module provides a data warehouse solution with frequently replicated data from pre-defined database tables, where the necessary data from iTMS is available. The replicated data can be used to produce customer reports in external reporting tools such as Business Intelligence. iTMS is also developed with an integrated SQL MS Reporting server, making it possible to build and provide reports based on business needs within the GUI.

Back office

The back office is a user-friendly, easy to manage module that provides the facility for dedicated user groups to work through action queues such as orders, ticket escalations, and letter print queues. With the standard iTMS Core delivery, these queues are generic with a wide variety of search and filter options. It is also possible to provide menu item specific queues for dedicated tasks.

Workflow engine

The workflow engine is our in-house developed graphical tool, where we design, model and automate virtually all business processes. With the Flow Builder it is easy to create a process map – e.g. a flow - as a graphical representation of the sequence of events within the specific process. Each step in the flow can contain its own logic and triggers. This is how the flow is built and controlled by our developers with simple point-and-click actions. The Workflows are the heart of the application of which the business process is built around. This means, that there is a direct correlation between the business process and the application used to facilitate this process. Subsequently, any change in the business processes propagates through the system, changing the application itself. With the Flow Builder, it is not only easy to design, model and describe the business processes. It can automatically produce extracted documentation of all Workflows, providing a graphical image of the implemented business processes. This can be used as a verification and optimisation tool, ensuring that every process is designed as efficient as possible.

OSS Modules

Assisting your company with daily operations.

The Operation Support System (OSS) modules can be identified as functionalities that will assist your company with the daily operations. Combined with the BSS modules you have the foundation for real-time interaction supporting digital platforms.


Enhance Systems has developed a standard list of web services which facilitates for a direct integration from external systems to iTMS. The API module is the tool that makes it possible to communicate among various components.  Moreover, the standard web services include methods to retrieve subscription product overviews, subscription balance, bundle status, and billing data.


iTMS supports most integration processing formats. All integration formats and processes are provided specifically and will be implemented on a time and material basis. Enhance Systems have implemented many different integrations for our clients. iTMS provisioning service supports service towards network operators and external partners. Within the workflow, it can be provided as an automated process with direct integration to different operators and network elements.
